Metrobactin is an antibiotic used to treat a range of bacterial and protozoal infections in cats and dogs. It contains metronidazole, commonly prescribed for digestive issues like diarrhoea caused by Giardia or Clostridium, as well as some dental or wound infections. To be used under veterinary direction. Metrobactin Tablets for Dogs and Cats

Metrobactin is prescribed for the treatment of certain bacterial and protozoal infections in cats and dogs. It is particularly effective against:

Gastrointestinal infections caused by Giardia and Clostridium species (such as C. perfringens or C. difficile)

Infections affecting the mouth, throat, urogenital system, skin, and soft tissue caused by anaerobic bacteria like Clostridia spp.
