Isemid Chewable Tablets for Dogs

Isemid is a prescription medication used to relieve symptoms associated with congestive heart failure in dogs, such as fluid accumulation in the lungs (pulmonary oedema). It helps reduce fluid build-up by promoting urine production, easing the workload on the heart and improving your dog’s comfort and breathing.

These brown, oblong tablets are scored for easy splitting and are available in different strengths to suit dogs of varying sizes:

1mg: for dogs weighing between 2.5kg and 11.5kg

2mg: for dogs weighing over 11.5kg up to 23kg

4mg: for dogs weighing between 23kg and 60kg

Your vet will determine the correct dose for your dog based on their specific needs. Always administer this medication exactly as prescribed by your veterinary surgeon.

Important Safety Information:

Do not use in dogs suffering from kidney failure

Not suitable for dogs with dehydration, low blood volume, or low blood pressure

Should not be used alongside other loop diuretics

Do not use in dogs with known allergies to torasemide or any other ingredients in the tablet
