Description

An oral antibiotic prescribed for the treatment of bacterial infections.

Veraflox is an oral antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections in both cats and dogs.

15mg tablets are suitable for both cats and dogs.

60mg and 120mg tablets are for use in dogs only.

Uses:

In Dogs:
Veraflox is used to treat skin infections (including wound infections), acute urinary tract infections caused by specific bacteria, and severe gum infections in combination with dental treatment.

In Cats:
Veraflox is indicated for the treatment of acute upper respiratory tract infections caused by certain bacteria.

Dosage:
The standard dosage is 3 mg of pradofloxacin per kilogram of body weight, administered once daily. The exact dose and duration of treatment will vary based on the species, weight, type and severity of infection, and response to treatment. Please refer to the product leaflet for full dosing guidance.

Important:
Do not use in dogs under 12 months of age, or under 18 months for large breeds.
