Ventipulmin Syrup for Horses
Ventipulmin is used to treat respiratory disease in horses where airway obstruction is caused by bronchospasm and/or mucus accumulation.
Specifically indicated for:
Acute, sub-acute, and chronic infections where mucus or microorganisms may trigger bronchospasm or airway blockage, such as:
Bronchitis
Bronchiolitis
Bronchopneumonia (alone or linked with equine influenza and other viral respiratory diseases)
Acute, sub-acute, and chronic respiratory allergies
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
If bacterial infection is present, concurrent use of an appropriate antimicrobial is advised.

Ventipulmin is a Schedule 4 Controlled Drug and is subject to strict prescription regulations.
A prescription is only valid for 28 days from the date written, and any repeat prescriptions must also be obtained within that period.
