It is used to treat and control mixed infections caused by both immature and adult tapeworms (cestodes) and roundworms (nematodes). The chewable format makes it easier to administer, even to fussy dogs. For veterinary use only. Administer as prescribed by your vet. Prescription required.

Milprazon Chewable Wormer Tablets for Dogs

Milprazon is a palatable, broad-spectrum worming treatment for dogs, designed to control and treat mixed infections caused by both immature and adult tapeworms (cestodes) and roundworms (nematodes). It can also be used as part of a preventative regime against heartworm and lungworm where cestode treatment is also indicated.

Effective against the following parasites:

Tapeworms (Cestodes): Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp., Echinococcus spp., Mesocestoides spp.

Roundworms (Nematodes):

Ancylostoma caninum, Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina, Trichuris vulpis

Crenosoma vulpis – reduces infection levels

Angiostrongylus vasorum – reduces L5 and adult stages

Thelazia callipaeda

Additionally, Milprazon may be used to prevent heartworm disease (Dirofilaria immitis) when cestode treatment is also needed.
